OpportunityWe are looking for full-time Clinic Coordinators for our Coalition Health Center and OH Clinic in Anchorage, AK. This is a Monday to Friday (40 hours a week) role.

  • Patient-Centric Excellence: Support our primary care clinic in Fairbanks and plays a crucial role in providing information about services and able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, ensuring a safe patient care environment and promoting excellence in customer service. Maintain professional conduct, practice cost containment, and demonstrate a strong work ethic to align with organizational goals.
  • Tech-Savvy Administrative Proficiency: Possess intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe, with the ability to adeptly utilize standard office equipment. The role requires efficient navigation of electronic systems for quality assurance of patient charts.
  • Clinical Support Expertise: Utilize your experience in occupational health and/or primary care to contribute to our passionate team. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience from a high-volume medical practice, demonstrating the ability to handle a variety of services, from managing phone lines and triaging calls to scheduling appointments and ensuring the check-in/out process runs smoothly.

Qualifications

  • High school education required.
  • Intermediate computer skills with prior experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Previous experience working in a front desk/ office receptionist position.

  • Maintain confidentiality of protected information.
  • Assist in customer relations by providing support to the division.
  • Support special teams and committees by performing administrative support tasks.
  • Assist in ensuring that standards of care, standards of practice, Code of Ethics, and policies and procedures are followed.
  • Assist in monitoring practices to assure compliance with the regulatory agency rules and regulations to assure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Assist in looking for ways to improve effectiveness by assisting in the implementation of new ideas and more efficient approaches.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
