Patients usually have the diagnoses of personality disorder, complex developmental trauma/abuse and/or autism. Cygnet Healthcare have been providing a national network of high quality specialist services for over 30 years.   • Leads the DBT team to deliver the full DBT programme (training provided)
  • Developing and updating START risk assessments
  • Individual therapy with inpatients
  • Administration and scoring of psychological tests and assessments
  • Co-produce formulations with patients
  • Writing reports
  • Attending and contributing to MDT meetings
  • Participation in regular supervision.

Were looking for someone who has:

  • Eligibility for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS)
  • Post graduate doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996)
  • Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist (or in final year of doctorate training)
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a hospital setting
  • Enjoys working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Prior knowledge or experience of DBT, and willingness to train if no qualification
  • Good IT skills.
