GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the investigator(s) and research coordinator, and following established policies and procedures, performs a variety of clinical research activities, and participates in carrying out research objectives, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and protocol guidelines. Provides technical support to the investigator(s) and research coordinator, and serves as a liaison between the institution and the sponsor. Researches literature in the field.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Completion of Medical Assistant course can be utilized in this position.
- A Bachelors degree can be utilized in this position.
- Two to three years of relevant experience. Requires a working knowledge of computer applications.
- A working knowledge of research methodology, medical terminology preferred.
