An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to lead and manage Specialist Inpatient and Outreach Services in Fife’s Health and Social Care Partnership. This includes the provision and ongoing development of what is a complex and evolving service model across health & social care.You will provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team who have a primary responsibility to provide high quality professional standards of care for individuals who are cared for in out Fife hospitals or at home with outreach services.The Clinical Service Manager has a key role to play in ensuring the operational business and delivery of care is exemplar. As part of the community care services portfolio management team, you will have responsibility for the services and budgets within Specialist Inpatient and Outreach Services and will carry line management responsibility for the Lead Nurses. You will ensure the effective allocation and control of resources across the portfolio. A key aspect of the role is to ensure that patient flow is optimised across all the services. The Clinical Service Manager has a key role to play supporting the Head of Service to ensure efficient and effective delivery of standards and the outcomes of integration.You will be an inspiring leader with highly developed communication and organisational skills, particularly in influencing and negotiating, motivating and managing change. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
