Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality resident care, support the nursing staff, and ensure that residents receive the best possible treatment in a variety of settings, including long term care, sub-acute care, and memory care. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to resident -centered care.ResponsibilitiesIncluding, but not limited to:

  • Assist residents with activities o f daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Provide support in emergency situations by responding promptly to residents needs.
  • Assist nursing staff in providing hospice care for terminally ill patients.
  • Help lift and transfer residents safely using appropriate technique s and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Document residents information accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive resident care in our facilities.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of resident care principles and practices.
  • Ability to provide compassionate support in hospice care settings.
  • Proficient in lifting techniques to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
  • Familiarity with Skilled Nursing, Sub-acute, and Memory Care and the specific needs of residents.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain resident confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations during an emergency .
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with residents , families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • This Nursing Assistant role is essential for ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care while promoting their dignity and comfort throughout their healthcare journey.
