CNC Mill/Turn (Programmer/Setter/Operator)Permanent – Cheltenham– Days – Full-Time –Salary £16-22phAre you looking to join a precision engineering company, manufacturing bespoke products for various industries, including, aerospace, defence, oil and gas sectors, and others, using core CNC machining facilities?The role
- First- off dimensional tests on new programs
- Good Knowledge of Feeds and speeds when running CNC machines
- In-process controls using manual devices (gauges, micrometer)
- Active handling of CNC machines (error detection, problem solving, adjusting programme)
- Setting/operating/programming CNC mills/lathes. Run Mazak mills/lathes. Doosan mill turn and XYZ proturns.
The Person
- Programming, setting and operating experience of CNC Milling/Turning machinery.
- CNC Mill/Turn experience within a similar hi-tech, Sub Contract environment.
- Able to work accurately to deadlines.
- An ability to read 1st and 3rd angle engineering drawings.
- An enthusiastic team player with a can-do/flexible attitude
- Continual process improvement attitude
- Conventional Turning experience – Desirable
- Manual and/or CNC Milling experience – Desirable
