Varsity Head Swimming Coach @ LNE:
Requires Teacher and/or coach who holds a Nebraska Department of Education Teacher or Administrative Certificate or a Nebraska Department of Education Special Services Coaching Permit.
Certified teacher and/or coach that is responsible for the instruction of swimming/diving skills and techniques, team systems and strategies; responsible for providing a safe and competitive environment; developing safe and properly planned and supervised practices and contests; provides leadership for the overall program; is energetic, a good communicator and able to build relationships with student-athletes.
Responsible for inspecting and maintaining the inventory and equipment; reporting contest results; and must know, implement, and enforce national, state, and local athletic policies. Additional responsibilities would include evaluation of assistant coaches, ordering equipment, and organization of the entire swimming/diving program.
