UNICEF Serbia seeks to establish a local roster of certified coaches who could be contracted to provide individual coaching services to UNICEF staff. The roster will serve as a human resources repository from which the country office can draw pre-vetted, well-qualified practitioners quickly and efficiently, as per the office’s needs. Entry into the roster does not mean that a contract with UNICEF is guaranteed. This will depend on forthcoming needs, as well as staff’s choice to work with a specific coach.

The coach will provide an agreed number of coaching sessions (in English or Serbian), either online or offline, per the trilateral agreement with the coachee and her/his supervisor. More specifically, the service will include:

  • tri-lateral meeting with the supervisor of the coachee, to agree on the overall coaching goals in line with UNICEF Core Values and Competency Framework,
  • signed Coaching Agreement which defines the number of sessions, session duration, cancellation policy, roles and responsibilities of both coach and coachee, and the overall goal of the coaching process,
  • 4-6 individual coaching sessions per coachee, as per UNICEF’s request,
  • mid-term report (after 2-3 sessions) and final report on when the coaching sessions took place, and whether the coachee demonstrated commitment to the coaching process.

If the coach suggests using a psychometric tool which bears additional costs to UNICEF, this shall be approved by UNICEF prior to using.

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accreditation by a leading international coaching organisation.
  • Minimum 500 hours of client coaching experience.
  • Previous coaching experience with the UN or other similar international organizations.
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to encourage introspection, connection and ambition.
  • Non-judgemental, reflexive and empathetic personality.
  • Fluency in English.

How to express interest:

The application should include:

  1. CV with references of coaching clients
  2. PCC accreditation certificate
  3. fee per coaching hour in USD
