Introduction
SCOPE OF TENDER:
This assignment entails the implementation of targeted, cohort-level marketing support and technical market readiness interventions for the honeybush sector, aligned with the sector-wide marketing and branding strategy being developed (Sector-Wide Marketing & Branding Strategy for the South African Honeybush Sector). The services will focus on engaging selected value chain cohorts to identify practical marketing needs, constraints and opportunities, and translating sector-level positioning into applied actions. This includes assessing market readiness, identifying gaps related to substantiation, traceability, conservation and ABS compliance, and prioritising feasible marketing interventions that reinforce sector coherence. The assignment will support the development of practical, evidence-based marketing tools and outputs that enhance credibility, market access and equitable benefit sharing, while remaining consistent with the approved sector strategy.
