RSK Environment, part of the RSK Group, is seeking to appoint a Commercial Assistant to support the division. The role can be offered on remote, homeworking or hybrid basis. The successful candidate ideally lives within a commutable distance to the Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, London or Glasgow office. This is a great opportunity to join a growing division on a full-time, permanent contract.

RSK Environment are currently supporting a number of high-profile organisations to deliver large-scale renewable energy projects across the UK, working on a range of Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs), Developments of National Significance (DNS), and other major planning applications. Building on the continued success of the business, we are looking for talented professionals seeking an exciting career opportunity and a fulfilling lifestyle in one of the UK’s Top 10 environmental companies.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with / Managing budgets on project
  • Assisting with / Creating financial project forecasts
  • Assisting with / Managing the finance for change events
  • Liaising with client’s QS/ commercial team on behalf of the project
  • Raising Applications for Payment and/ or invoices
  • Dealing with invoice / budget queries from clients

Person specification

  • Relevant commercial / financial qualification or experience
  • An awareness of different contract types (contract team support is available for this)
  • Confident communicator, but who is not afraid to ask for support
  • Attention to detail with regards to numbers.
  • Good client care -Solution orientated
  • Self starter, keen to learn and progress career
