Your responsibilities will include:Client Advisory & Sales:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and provide tailored insurance solutions to commercial clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their evolving business needs and offering proactive advice.

Policy Management & Underwriting:

  • Collaborate with underwriters to secure the best coverage and pricing for clients.
  • Review policy terms, conditions, and endorsements to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Business Development & Networking:

  • Identify new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and strategic outreach.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry regulations to provide valuable insights to clients.

Collaboration & Team Support:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including claims and customer service, to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Participate in training and professional development initiatives to enhance industry knowledge and skills.

QualificationsTo succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:Education & Experience:

  • A Level 1 General Insurance License is required, Level 2 is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial insurance advisor.
  • A CAIB, CIP, or other relevant designation is an asset.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines effectively.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $65,000 – $85,000 per year. Candidates with salary expectations outside of this range are encouraged to apply.
