The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of various commercial projects, while maintaining high standards of quality, timelines, and budget adherence. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in managing complex topics.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:Leadership:

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of commercial project managers (CPM)
  • Financial partner to Director of Project Management Organization supporting annual volume of +$1 billion.
  • Assign projects and tasks to commercial project managers (CPM) based on skill sets and project requirements.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ownership of subsegment P&L
  • Upskill Commercial Project Managers to adhere to PM @ Siemens Guidelines.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and business management.
  • Address and resolve project-related issues and conflicts.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and enforce commercial project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct project audits and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering or business administration or equivalent
  • 5 plus years of experience in project management.
  • 3 plus years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Discernment Develop ability to cut through the clutter to see and address the real issues facing the Project Stakeholders.
  • Communication Effectively and efficiently communicate knowledge across functional areas both with internal and external Project Stakeholders
  • Resourcefulness Exhibit creative ways to make things happen with less authority and fewer resources.
  • Accountability & Responsibility for Results Understand the difference between fault and responsibility throughout the life of the project and accept ultimate accountability for project results.

  • The pay range for this position is $87,000 – $149,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
