Community Outreach Volunteer

Education and experience:

 

• From the same family, only one person can be a Community Outreach Volunteer as a wife or husband, brother or sister.
• Appointed community outreach volunteers must not be members or hired by the government.
• Community Outreach Volunteers need to work within one organization only. There may be student and teacher volunteers.
• Must be a member of (the persons concerned) and of the same community.
• Good communication skills and good ability in presentation and speaking.
• Ability to lead and facilitate meetings and awareness sessions.
• Familiar with the reporting mechanism, tools and formats.
• They are well known among the returnee and IDP community / they have a good reputation.
• Good interpersonal skills.

 

Language skills:

 

Required level of English proficiency: Beginner

Required level of Arabic language: advanced

The local language/dialect required depends on the relevant community

 

Other Skills and Qualifications (Required):

 

• Providing services without financial or other returns / without any interest.
• Full compliance with the rules of conduct of the International Heartland Alliance.
• Follow a non-judgmental approach (do not pass judgment on others).
• Carry out volunteer assignments for specific hours per week.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Communication and coordination with Heartland.
• To be a responsible person and accept comments and feedback.
• Staying within the confines of his/her voluntary role;
• We encourage the female category to apply for this volunteer work
• Those wishing to apply must be over 18 years old.

 

 

• Knowledge of using technological means (smart phone, mobile phone, and computer).

Competencies required for the job

Physical requirement

 

• The ability to move freely and easily between sites and make home visits.
• We encourage people with disabilities to apply for this Volunteer work.
• Join the Heartland team on monitoring visits to identify protection risks.
• Volunteers must be committed to participating in capacity-building sessions and meetings held by Heartland.

Attend meetings, training, and capacity-building initiatives to be organized by Heartland

 

Performance Evaluation and Termination

Heartland Alliance International has the right to immediately terminate this Agreement with no option to appeal and without compensation in the event the Volunteer is found through investigation to have committed:

• A violation the Code of Conduct, including gross negligence
• Immoral or unethical behavior toward any individual during hours of activity throughout the duration of the agreement.
• Any act of sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) during and after working hours.
• Any act of fraud or corruption during and after working hours, including acceptance of cash or gifts (regardless of value) for activities related to Heartland Alliance International.
• Disclosure of confidential information related to Heartland Alliance International
• Conducting HAI work outside allocated working hours from 8 am to 4 pm.

 

 

Volunteer Responsibilities and Commitments

As a voice for the community, the Volunteer commits to:

• Adhere to the duly signed Code of Conduct and ToR;
• Support all members of the community without discrimination and irrespective of age, gender, or diversity;
• Represent community voices and defend the legal rights of community members.

 

Administrative Requirements

• Hours: Each COV is expected to volunteer 20 hours per week.
• Leave requests: COVs have a right to request leave during the contact period, including for pre-scheduled annual leave, sick leave, and/or 1 month parental leave. They should coordinate leave requests with their team leaders, with available leave as determined by this contract, Which is sick leave for emergency cases of one day, equivalent to four working hours, and regular leave of one day, equivalent to four working hours.
• Note: These leaves are paid and will not be deducted from the salary.
• Reporting: COVs will provide weekly reports to their supervisor based on the reporting template, and attend monthly or weekly meetings, or as agreed by the Partner.
• Exceptional circumstances: In the event of exceptional or unforeseen circumstances that may result in a COV being unable to fully or partially perform their duties, notification should be given to the team leader as soon as the circumstances arise otherwise the monthly salary will be cut off. 

 

التعليم والخبرة:

 

من نفس الأسرة ، يمكن لشخص واحد فقط أن يكون “متطوع التوعية المجتمعية” كزوجة أو وزوج ، أخ أو أخت فقط.

يجب ألا يكون متطوعو التوعية المجتمعية المعينين موظف يعمل لدى الحكومة.

يحتاج متطوعو التوعية المجتمعية إلى العمل في ضمن منظمة واحدة فقط. من الممكن أن يكون هناك متطوعون من الطلاب والمدرسين.

يجب أن يكون شخصا مهتم ومن نفس المجتمع.

مهارات التواصل الجيد والقدرة الجيدة في التقديم والتكلم.

القدرة على قيادة وتسهيل الاجتماعات وجلسات التوعية.

على دراية بآلية التقارير والأدوات والفورمات.

مهارة جيدة في التعامل مع الآخرين.

 

المهارات اللغوية:

 

المستوى المطلوب في إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية: مبتدئ

 

المستوى المطلوب في اللغة العربية: متقدم

 

تعتمد اللغة/ اللهجة المحلية المطلوبة على المجتمع ذي الصلة.

 

مهارات ومؤهلات أخرى (مطلوب):

 

تقديم خدمات بدون عوائد مالية أو عوائد أخرى / بدون أي فوائد.

الإلتزام التام بقواعد سلوك الخاص بمنظمة هارتلاند الاينس الدولية.

إتباع نهج غير حكمي (لا يصدر الأحكام على الآخرين).

القيام بمهام التطوعية لساعات محددة في الأسبوع.

الحفاظ على سرية المعلومات الحساسة.

التواصل والتنسيق مع هارتلاند.

أن يكون شخصاً مسؤولاً ويقبل الملاحظات .

البقاء ضمن حدود الدور التطوعي الخاص به/بها ؛

نشجع النساء على التطوع, ويجب ان يكون المتطوع فوق سن ال 18 سنة.

 

الكفاءات المطلوبة للوظيفة

متطلبات جسدية:

 

القدرة على التنقل بحرية وسهولة بين المواقع والقيام بزيارات منزلية.

في حالة الإعاقة أو عاهةٍ ما ، يجب أن يكون المتطوع قادرًا على أداء الواجبات المطلوبة من دون أي عوائق أمام تنقله/ها.

الانضمام إلى فريق هارتلاند في زيارات المراقبة لتحديد مخاطر الحماية.

يجب أن يلتزم المتطوعون بالإشتراك في دورات بناء القدرات والمشاركة بالاجتماعات التي تعقد من قبل هارتلاند.

حضور الاجتماعات ، والتدريبات ، ومبادرات بناء القدرات التي ستنظمها هارتلاند.

تقييم الأداء وحالات أنهاء العقد

يحق لمنظمة تحالف هارتلاند الدولية إنهاء هذه الاتفاقية على الفور دون أي خيار للاستئناف وبدون تعويض في حالة اكتشاف أن المتطوع من خلال التحقيق قد ارتكب:

مخالفة مدونة السلوك، بما في ذلك الإهمال الجسيم.

سلوك غير أخلاقي أو غير منسجم مع أداب العامة تجاه أي فرد خلال ساعات تنفيذ نشاطات طوال مدة الاتفاقية.

أي فعل من أفعال الاستغلال والاعتداء الجنسي (SEA) أثناء وبعد ساعات العمل.

أي عمل من أعمال الاحتيال أو الفساد أثناء وبعد ساعات العمل، بما في ذلك قبول النقود أو الهدايا (بغض النظر عن قيمتها) للأنشطة المتعلقة ب هارتلاند ألاينس الدولية.

الكشف عن المعلومات الخصوصية المتعلقة بأنشطة المفوضية أو هارتلاند ألاينس الدولية.

العمل خارج ساعات العمل المقررة من قبل المنظمة من ال8 صباحا الى ال4 عصرا.

 

 

كممثل للمجتمع، يلتزم المتطوع بما يلي:

الالتزام بمدونة قواعد السلوك والمستندات الموقعة حسب الأصول .

دعم جميع أفراد المجتمع دون تمييز وبغض النظر عن العمر أو الجنس أو التنوع .

تمثيل أصوات المجتمع والدفاع عن الحقوق القانونية لأفراد المجتمع.

 

المتطلبات الإدارية

ساعات العمل: المطلوب من كل متطوع العمل لمدة 20 ساعة في الأسبوع.

طلبات الإجازة: يحق لـمتطوعي التواصل المجتمعي طلب إجازة خلال فترة االعقد، بما في ذلك الإجازة السنوية المجدولة مسبقًا، والإجازة المرضية، و / أو الإجازة الأمومة مدتها شهر. يجب عليهم تنسيق طلبات الإجازة مع مديرهم المباشر, وان الإجازات تمنح على النحو الذي تحدده المنظمة والتي هي اجازة مرضية لحالات الطارئة مدتها يوم واحد يعادل اربعة ساعات العمل واجازة اعتيادية مدتها يوم واحد يعادل اربعة ساعات العمل.

ملاحظة: ان الاجازات مدفوعة ولن يستقطع من الراتب.

 

أعداد التقارير: سيقدم متطوع التواصل المجتمعي تقارير أسبوعية إلى مشرفهم بناءً على نموذج التقرير، ويحضر الاجتماعات الشهرية او الاسبوعية، أو وفقًا لما يتفق عليه المنظمة.

ظروف استثنائية: في حالة وجود ظروف استثنائية أو غير متوقعة قد تؤدي إلى عدم قدرة متطوع التواصل المجتمعي على أداء واجباتهم بشكل كامل أو جزئي، يجب إرسال تبليغ إلى المدير المباشر بمجرد ظهور الظروف وخلافا لذلك سوف ستقطع من الراتب الشهري.
