The RSK Group, we are looking for a Company Secretary Assistant to join our busy inhouse legal team, which is primarily based in Helsby, Cheshire.This is a full-time (40 hours per week) hybrid role, working a couple of days a week at our head office in Helsby.We will also consider an Assistant Company Secretary role for the appropriate candidate.The Legal Team is a dynamic and friendly group, consisting of professionals specialising in Legal, Compliance and Governance. Together, they work collaboratively to provide expert advice and guidance to the RSK Group across all these areas. This role is ideal for someone eager to expand their skill set, tackle new challenges, and grow professionally within a supportive and collaborative team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining statutory books, including registers of members, directors and secretaries, as well as all company records
  • Ensuring complete records are received from our newly-acquired businesses and properly recorded on Diligent Entities
  • Completing statutory filings, including Confirmation Statements
  • Assisting with the organisation of Board Meetings and paperwork relating to the approval of company accounts and dividends.
  • Assisting the Company Secretarial Manager to develop the governance requirements within the organisation on an international basis
  • Supporting subsidiary compliance including working with global advisors on the maintenance of statutory registers and corporate filings.
  • Responding to KYC and tender requests

Person Specification:

  • CGI part or fully qualified with at least 2-4 years’ relevant experience and looking to gain a wide range of company secretarial experience in a busy and dynamic corporate governance environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Experience using Diligent Entities is desirable
  • Good attention to detail
