Our child is silly, funny, loves to play, enjoys her routines. We are looking for someone who is understanding, respectful, and committed to creating a positive and nurturing environment. About Our Child: Our child loves water, bubbles, playing with babies and spending time outdoors. They thrive on routine and clear communication. Can become very overwhelmed during transition times. Our child may experience sensory sensitivities to loud noises or bright lights. They communicate best with visual aids, and AAC device and clear, concise language. Our child attends weekly speech therapy and occupational therapy sessions every 2 weeks. Responsibilities: Provide attentive and engaging care for our 6-year-old child. Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment. Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation, hygiene, toileting. Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote development and learning. Implement and follow established routines and behavior plans. Maintain open and clear communication with parents. Possibly light household duties related to the child. Implement any needed sensory strategies. Would love to send on outings as well. Will need own reliable vehicle. Qualifications: Experience working with autistic children is highly preferred. Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and related developmental needs. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable and punctual. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Background check required. Education or Early Childhood certification a bonus References required. Schedule: This will be full time starting July 2 – August 31, 2025, Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:30PM Also, if a good fit and your schedule allows would love to keep part-time during the school months for PD days and days off.
