Compliance Associate/ Compliance OfficerCompliance DepartmentMaidenhead, United KingdomOur Corporate Compliance Department is looking for a Compliance Associate/ Compliance Officer for the team in charge of AML, Prevention Facilitation Tax Evasion and Third-Party Payments to be based in our Maidenhead, United Kingdom Office. You will be working in a highly diverse, and fast paced international environment with the opportunity to contribute to the compliance programme. You will have frequent interactions with the business, counterparties and with other departments locally and globally. This position offers remote working opportunities for an agreed number of days per week.The main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Provide advice on any topics or questions related to anti-money laundering (AML) or prevention of facilitation of tax evasion coming from other Compliance teams or functions, groupwide.
  • Point of contact in case of AML or tax evasion risks for other Compliance teams performing due diligence (e.g., KYC) on new or existing counterparties.
  • Review and approve payment arrangements when involving a third party (non-contractual party).
  • Provide advice on any topics or questions related to third party payments coming from other Compliance teams or functions, groupwide.
  • Support on the various Compliance projects and enquiries related, incl.:

o the update, enhancement and creation of Policies, Standards, Procedures and Guidelines (PSPG), accompanying manuals and corresponding training and awareness materials.o Reporting and audit requests,o Tracking and documentation efforts, among others.

  • Day to day handling of Compliance system controls (e.g., alerts) to mitigate AML and prevention of facilitation of tax evasion risks.
  • Regular monitoring of relevant regulatory changes.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • academic degree (or equivalent)
  • a legal, auditing/risk or similar background
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience (e.g. in KYC, AML, sanctions or equivalent)
  • experience from an international company is beneficial
  • interest in compliance topics and commodity trading
  • fluent in English (corporate language), any additional language is a benefit, but not essential
  • very good written and verbal communication skills
  • good know-how in using IT applications (e.g. MS Office)
  • eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
