Get in touch with us to discuss in more detail.About the roleWe are looking for a Compliance Manager who will provide proactive support to the Head of Compliance, in the formulation and implementation of the appropriate strategy to manage new initiatives to help compliantly meet the business’ goals. To ensure that, as the Group grows, its overall control framework continues to develop to support the business and meet regulatory requirements.As the Compliance Manager you will work closely with the Directors of, Heads of and Managers of the Group Compliance function as well as directly with third party firms (Reinsurers, Partners, Third Party Administrators/Funders) to ensure all relevant staff have a clear and correct understanding of relevant regulatory rules and expectationsYou will also make a significant contribution to the development and maintenance of a robust conduct risk and Consumer Duty culture.ResponsibilitiesTo ensure that the Just Group is compliant with regulatory requirements (with focus on PRA and FCA) in relation to its business (including third parties).Take the lead on the development and ongoing management of regulatory compliance matters in relation to our business, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.Create a robust framework and apply and / or oversee processes to ensure appropriate controls are in place to meet the FCA and PRA’s rules and guidance, as applicable to the Just / HUB Group.To contribute to regular reports, summarising and tracking key regulatory compliance concernsMaintain a good working relationship with the Key Relationship areas and stakeholders in the first line of the business to ensure they maintain a strong knowledge of relevant compliance rules and procedures to mitigate the exposure for any breaches. This will involve detailed knowledge and investigation into relevant FCA and PRA rules (and underlying UK and EU legislation).Working collaboratively with other second line areas to deliver/enable a comprehensive second line support and oversight functionWorking with Compliance colleagues, maintain up to date knowledge of regulatory and business changes and communicate how any changes affect the business, implementing improvement measures and providing regular communication updates.Deputise for the Heads of Compliance, as required.Work in conjunction with the Heads of Compliance, in the conduct of their duties in relation to compliance and wider regulatory matters.Seek opportunities to develop and implement further ideas, tools and initiatives that help the business be recognised as an industry leader in developing and delivering conduct risk best practices.Contribute to the training, development and support of compliance colleaguesSkills & ExperienceExtensive experience in a relevant retail compliance role in financial services is essential.Experience in successfully managing relationships with customer-oriented firms.Experience of Consumer Duty / conduct risk regime.Experience in designing and making presentations to Board level recipients.Proven ability to assimilate, comprehend and present information verbally and in writing.Detailed knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Conduct Authority regulations and compliance framework.Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences.Objective, timely and confident influencing and decision-making skills with a good understanding of Group strategy and directionTeam player with a focus on leadership by example.Ability to implement robust processes and procedures to satisfy regulatory requirements.Ability to manage complex relationships with regulatory bodies, industry bodies and senior management.Excellent organisation & project management skills and the ability to balance, prioritise and deliver against many different tasks.Ability to work independently and proactivelyAttention to detail, with an analytical mindsetAble to work cross-functionally to deliver goals.Sound IT skills and knowledge of systems.Company BenefitsA Competitive Salary, Pension Scheme and Life AssuranceAlong with 25 Days Annual Leave plus an Additional Day on us for your BirthdayPrivate Medical Cover and Income Protection, just in caseA generous and highly achievable bonus scheme – paid annually based on individual and company performance against targetsOpportunity to progress within your career both in-role and within the companyFREE access to the Headspace App, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Helpline and Trained Physical & Mental Health First Aiders (On-Site)A variety of Employee Funded Benefits available to you via our Online Benefits PortalPlus, several additional purchase options available for you and your loved onesAbout UsWe’re a FTSE 250 Financial Services company who specialise in retirement solutions and right now, our world is moving pretty quickly.How people work, save, and plan for the future is all changing.
