The compliance paralegal will be providing support to the Risk and Compliance team of a leading law firm in Manchester.
- Provide support to the Business Services Department in maintaining compliance within the firm.
- Assist in the preparation and management of legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analyse legal and regulatory developments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure company-wide understanding of compliance protocols.
- Dealing with data protection for the firm, such as data breaches and subject access requests.
- Assist in the development of corporate policies and procedures.
- Support the legal team in various projects and initiatives as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Contribute to a positive work culture in the Manchester office.
Paralegal|Risk and complianceA successful Compliance Paralegal should have:
- A degree in Law or a related field.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
