Get in touch with us to discuss in more detail.About the roleWe are looking for a Compliance Specialist to support our Group and Defined Benefit (DB) teams.In this role you will provide support to the Head of Compliance Group and DB and will make a significant contribution to the effectiveness of the Compliance function through the provision of comprehensive support and ongoing analysis of regulatory risk, including but not limited to conflicts of interest, Senior Managers and Certification Regime and Solvency UK documentation compliance as well as supporting on regulatory reporting and notifications..Working within the Group’s regulatory risk appetite defined by relevant Boards, you will work proactively with first line colleagues across the Group to promote best practice with the aim of reducing regulatory risk.As the Compliance Specialist you will also contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust Consumer Duty culture.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive and timely regulatory oversight and challenge to the Groups systems and controls with regards to compliance with, but not limited to, the following regulatory requirements: conflicts of interest, Senior Managers and Certification Regime, Solvency UK documentation and with regards to the timeliness and accuracy of data for inclusion in regulatory reports and notifications including ad-hoc requests for information.Provide broad regulatory and compliance support and expertise to projects and/or regulatory change programmes. Delivering by business partnering with colleagues across the Group to ensure that these are delivered without increasing exposure to unacceptable regulatory risks.
