What is the opportunity?

You will provide advice and counsel to RBC clients/business partners for mid-to-high complex margin lending value calculations and financial covenant testing. You will deliver a differentiated client experience, provide insight and direction, and gather financial reporting from clients/partners to complete margin and covenant transactions within Service Commitments. Lastly, you will provide support to Commercial Financial Services (CFS) for identifying and onboarding clients to the Compliance Monitoring Tool.

What will you do?

  • Manage a portfolio in the mid-to-high end of the Commercial Financial Services (CFS) market for margins and covenants
  • Provide consistent service, contributing to achieving business Client Service Commitments (CSC’s)
  • Convert client files to an electronic submission via the Compliance Monitoring Tool, leading to improved efficiency through automated process, greater accuracy, quicker processing and easier access to online information for clients
  • Takes ownership to resolve complex issues at the first point of contact; demonstrating a long-term perspective in addressing client concerns
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend value added enhancements
  • Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders (CAG Risk, GRM, BSC) to optimize overall processing time

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Solid commercial credit experience
  • Deep understanding of Compliance and Monitoring activities for Commercial Banking
  • Willing to work shifts within the business hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday
  • Applicants from Quebec need to be Bilingual in French and English – required to communicate with teams located across Canada

Nice-to-have

  • Business and risk management experience
  • Knowledge of RBC systems (Synergy, OLBB, CMS, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe etc.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or work experience in Commercial Banking related field
