Position: Composite Materials Technician
Location: LavalAn international manufacturer is seeking a Composite Technician for their Laval plant. They are offering a competitive salary according to experience, full benefits, RRSP package, flexible hours and opportunity for advancement within a dynamic working environment.
Training will be provided on specific tasks and the important aspect is having either specific experience in working with composite in a manufacturing environment and candidates who have education within the field of composite materials will also be considered.
In this role, you will be supporting production in a variety of tasks such as:– Supporting production in quality processes to ensure production meets quality standards
– Maintaining production technical documents relating (work instructions, procedures, technical content of work orders, etc.)
– Anticipating and overcoming obstacles which may hinder quality production
– Performing quality audits to ensure compliance and understanding of production procedures
– Participating in raw material inventory management
– Performing product testing such as preparing equipment, products and solutions necessary for carrying out analyses
– Performing process related to the process for ensuring quality product such as handling, calibrating, confirming dosages, noting observation, record keeping on data and analysis of findings
– Communicating with the team
– Providing technical assistance and insight regarding operation of devices
– Participating in the design of various equipment, devices, prototypes, mechanical parts and assembly tool
– Diagnosing and problem solving on production-related problems
– Participating in employee training programsRequirements:– Must have at least 1-3 years of experience in a relevant position in composite materials or candidates with education in composite material will also be considered
– Fluency in French is a required
