At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Configuration Manager to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Accountable for Service Configuration Management and the CMDB;
• Defining, executing, monitoring, and continuously improving the Service Configuration Management practice;
• Establishing, tracking, and reporting on Service Configuration Management and CMDB KPIs;
• Ensuring that the CMDB contains accurate and up-to-date information;
• Ensuring that service trees are maintained and kept up to date;
• Ensuring that Service Configuration Management processes and the CMDB are accurately reflected in the ITSM solution;
• Preparing and maintaining policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support the Service Configuration Management practice;
• Contributing to the implementation and improvement of other ITIL practices;
• Creating and maintaining a positive customer experience;
• Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of IT experience, including 2 years in a similar role or relevant project experience;
• Strong practical knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), particularly Service Configuration Management;
• Proven experience in defining, implementing, documenting, and improving Service Configuration Management practices;
• Hands-on experience in implementing, managing, and governing a CMDB, including CI lifecycle management;
• Proven ownership of CMDB data quality, governance, and continuous improvement;
• Experience integrating CMDB with Change Enablement and other ITSM processes;
• Practical knowledge of data source management, automated discovery, and CMDB integrations;
• Experience creating, maintaining, and mapping services, service trees, and dependencies;
• Strong understanding of IT service lifecycle management, complex information systems, and their interoperability;
• Proven experience with CMDB reporting, auditing, and ServiceNow Configuration Management/CMDB;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong reporting and organizational abilities.
