Job Description:
We foster great, team-spirited collaborations
Parsons is a diverse community that wants you to join our team! Come make a difference supporting the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Our organization welcomes your insights and ideas.
We are delivering agile and innovative customer-driven solutions to NNSA at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, New Mexico
Our organization has been NNSA’s trusted advisor for more than 10-years on some of the country’s most complex and critical design and construction projects. Parsons was recently awarded a third 5-year contract to continue our services to NNSA. You will be part of a diverse and engaged team continuing our services for NNSA at Los Alamos to support a project portfolio of more than $6 billion that includes infrastructure upgrades and the design, fabrication, construction, and commissioning of projects supporting the Nation’s Nuclear Security Enterprise.
Parsons is planning a new tasking to support the NNSA Los Alamos Field Office on a five (5) year effort to provide effective Federal oversight of minor construction projects at Los Alamos. Work scope is anticipated to start in March 2023. It is estimated that minor construction projects at Los Alamos will total between $25M and $90M per year, with individual projects typically valued $1M to $25M. As the Owner’s Representative for the NNSA Federal Team, candidates will monitor and report construction progress as well as identify risks and actions to mitigate risk to schedule and cost performance.
Parsons is searching for motivated candidates for multiple assignments in Los Alamos who would like to expand their experience while engaging in these capabilities:
- Construction Oversight Supervisor to oversee minor construction and to ensure appropriate construction oversight through use of the construction assessors
- Construction Assessor with experience in civil, structural, and architectural design and construction
- Construction Assessor with experience in mechanical, electrical, and process design and construction
US Citizenship is required. Active security clearance is preferred.
This is a dedicated on-site position for small projects at LANL. Your expertise will be invaluable to priority missions supporting the Nations’ Nuclear Security Enterprise.
Advancement at Parsons is merit-based with multiple pathways available for those interested in continuing career growth. We encourage and value your interests in diverse assignments with Parsons.
Your career with Parsons is unlimited and not tied to any specific site or contract. World-wide opportunities are available for you to consider along with the tools, resources, and skills available from throughout our global staff.
As Trusted Advisors to NNSA, one of our goals is to assist NNSA and their Management & Operations (M&O) contractors to safely deliver quality construction on time and within budget. If you have M&O experience and are ready to breakout into a new and exciting career path, then we welcome you to the team. We also value employees who can leverage their Federal or Commercial experience to bring best practices and outside perspectives to strengthen NNSA’s mission.
Your enthusiasm for collaborating makes you a vital part of our team
Collaboration can stimulate your best thinking and sparks the best in everyone you work with. You’re open to different perspectives and helping to synthesize them into solid solutions. We value your ability to work with people with different points of view to reach solutions that everybody understands and respects. You will be a boon to our workplace.
***Contingent upon task order modification and release of funds.***
