JMAN Group is a fast-growing data engineering & data science consultancy. We work primarily with Private Equity Funds and their Portfolio Companies to create commercial value using Data & Artificial Intelligence. In addition, we also work with growth businesses, large corporates, multinationals, and charities.We are headquartered in London with Offices in New York, London and Chennai. Our team of over 400 people is a unique blend of individuals with skills across commercial consulting, data science and software engineering.We were founded by cousins Anush Newman (Co-founder & CEO) and Leo Valan (Co-founder & CTO) and have grown rapidly since 2019. In May 2023 we took a minority investment from Baird Capital and in January 2024 we opened an office in New York with the ambition of growing our US business to be as large as, if not bigger than, our European business by 2027.Our UK team is currently 90+ people and as we are continuing to grow across all offices, we are always looking for ambitious, intelligent, self-motivated individuals excited to work for a global, high growth company in an exciting and fast paced environment.You will be provided the opportunity to run projects with clients on a day-to-day basis, hone your technical skills and play a key role in building JMAN. We strongly believe that the best way to learn is on the job – you will have access to a range of training materials which, with the support of your coach and team, will enable you to take on a leadership role on a client project from day one.Our consultants are encouraged to get involved in all aspects of building JMAN but here are your key responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver on client projects, those with clear outcomes and those that are exploratory.
- Manage day to day delivery of client engagements and provide oversight to the delivery teams whilst taking responsibility for the outputs and recommendations across projects.
- Develop and maintain client relationships and recognise opportunities to extend projects or expand client accounts.
- Work closely with a cross-functional, international team to solve complex problems pragmatically and deliver a sustainable outcome.
- Deliver high quality slide decks to effectively communicate to and influence multiple senior stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Take responsibility for your own personal development by completing internal and external training initiatives as required.
- Drive internal projects and work alongside teams that look to improve the way we operate as a business.
- Act as an ambassador of JMAN values and provide mentorship to more junior members in the team.
- You have a minimum of 2.5 years of professional work experience.
- You have an excellent academic background and strong numerate ability.
- Demonstratable problem-solving skills and the ability to think about a problem from first principles.
- Demonstratable experience in using analytical tools including Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, Python, etc.
- You are proactive and have demonstrated that you will go beyond what is required of you in a professional environment.
- You are ambitious and not afraid to suggest a change in the business or voice an idea that the company could pursue.
- You are a highly competent communicator and are comfortable communicating to internal teams and handling challenging senior stakeholders.
- You thrive under pressure and see challenges as opportunities.
- You display a high level of self-awareness and take ownership of your personal development areas.
- You have some experience in effectively line managing teams.

- £50,500 – £65,500 per annum, prorated to term
