CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Advanced degree in Peacebuilding, Advocacy, Communications, Political Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in advocacy training, youth engagement, and media-based advocacy.
    • Experience working with NGOs in conflict-sensitive environments.
    • Strong facilitation skills, particularly in youth-led advocacy and policy engagement.
    • Knowledge of social cohesion, Do No Harm, and conflict-sensitive approaches.
    • Ability to produce high-quality training materials and adapt content for diverse audiences.
    • Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
    • Familiarity with Sinjar and Baaj contexts is an asset.

DURATION OF THE CONSULTANCY

The consultant shall provide training services within the project’s timeline, with the training expected to take place over eight days: four days per location (Sinjar and Baaj), considering two days per module. A final report shall be submitted within one week after the last training session.

MEANS OF MONITORING TO ENSURE IMPACT

To evaluate the effectiveness of the training, the following measures will be implemented:

  • Pre- and post-training assessments/evaluations to gauge improvements in participants’ knowledge and skills.
    • Participant feedback surveys to gather insights on the quality and relevance of the training.
    • Observations and documentation of advocacy plans/media content developed by participants.
    • Follow-up support or check-ins to track how participants apply advocacy skills post-training.
    • Final evaluation report summarizing key learning outcomes and areas for future capacity-building.

The consultancy aims to empower youth to become effective advocates for peace and social cohesion, ensuring long-term impact in their communities. The selected consultant will work closely with the WV Project Manager and Peacebuilding and Inclusion Technical Advisor to deliver a high-quality training experience.

No Price Negotiation: Please note that this tender follows a “best and final offer” (BAFO) approach including bank fees. Suppliers are expected to submit their most competitive price and comprehensive proposal initially, as no negotiations regarding price will be undertaken after the submission deadline.

 

Neither party shall use the name of the other in publicity releases, referrals, advertising, or similar activity without the prior written consent of the other.

Interested supplier should provide the following documents with the offer:

Previous experience in relevant training Theoretical and practical methods (vocational training -personnel CVs and previous relevant work), Certification  in the training or have a ToT , Have the course topic materials , IF supplier were company (Company profile, Supplier CV, similar work, Supplier name, legal and physical address, detailed bank account, contact telephone and email. List of clients.

 

 

Your offer comprising of Technical and Financial proposal, should be submitted to following email

The WV Iraq reserves the right to split an award/award (Per subject) and to consider localized award/awards between any proposers in any combination, as it may deem appropriate, without prior written acceptance of the proposers.

 

WV Iraq shall not consider any Proposal that arrives after the deadline for submission of Proposals. Any Proposal received by WV Iraq after the deadline for submission of Proposals shall be declared late, rejected, and returned unopened to the Proposer.

   

Please note only Bidders that have passed the technical evaluation process will be considered for financial proposal evaluation.
