Job summaryCore Clinical Services DivisionCONSULTANT POST IN CLINICAL GENETICS and GENOMIC MEDICINEApplications are invited for a consultant post in Clinical Genetics and Genomic Medicine.This replacement 10PA post for the North East Thames Regional Genetics Service will be based in the Clinical Genetics Department at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). The service has outreach clinics throughout the region. We are seeking a motivated clinician to join our supportive, dynamic and innovative department.The successful candidate will join an experienced team in delivering high quality care for adults and children with rare diseases. The successful candidate will be supported in developing an area of specialist interest.The potholder will have a full clinical commitment and will play an active role in the department’s programme of research and innovation, quality improvement and education and training. They will work closely with laboratory colleagues from the North Thames GLH who are co-located with the clinical department. The clinical service is a key partner in the North Thames Genomic Medicine Service Alliance (GMSA), also hosted by GOSH.Main duties of the jobCCST/CCT in Clinical Genetics (or be within six months of obtaining this at the time of interview).
