You will be working at IBEX (Innovation and Business Excellence) that can be described has the beating heart of AstraZeneca UK’s marketing success. More specifically the digital team that supports the creation of digital assets like banners, emails, presentations for all the therapy areas, including Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism, Vaccines, Respiratory and Oncology.
The impact of this digital powerhouse extends far beyond pixels on a screen. The work fosters better communication between healthcare professionals and patients, drives informed decision-making, and ultimately, improves patient outcomes. They are the bridge between the science and the story, the artists who bring your brand’s mission to life in the digital landscape.
During your apprenticeship in IBEX you will have the opportunity to do the following:
Liaise with brand managers to determine their requirements and timescales.
managing stakeholders’ proposals from typesetting through to graphic design, print and production.
work with stakeholders’ ideas and managing their expectations.
develop concepts, graphics and layouts, including making decisions about fonts, images, readability and readers’ needs.
determine size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
content innovation and creation trends, e.g. AI
prepare rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.
review final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.
keep up to date with design and software trends.

About the Apprenticeship Programme
Training and Development
The apprenticeship combines working, earning a full-time salary, with fully funded part-time learning (on average 1 day/week). This will give you the opportunity to gain a Level 3 Content Creator qualification through our provider Apprentify, with the advantage of gaining relevant work-life skills and the excitement of helping to develop new medicines whilst taking your first steps towards a rewarding career.

Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grades 9 to 4 including English and Maths
To have achieved or predicted to achieve a minimum of 1 A level or equivalent at Grade C
