Cork Centre for Independent Living is recruiting for a Chief Executive Officer
Our staff work with people with physical and sensory disabilities and their families in their communities in Cork city and county . We are committed to providing consistent, high-quality personal assistant and home support services as well as advocate of behalf of our service users to ensure that whatever their stage of life, they are supported to live their life their way.
The CEO oversees the organisation’s overall direction, management, and administration. This is an ambitious post, which requires a real understanding of disability services and the disability sector as well as strategic vision and leadership and management abilities.
As the CEO of Cork CIL , reporting to the Board, you will build upon the solid foundations already established and guide the organisation and its team through strategic advancement. You will be a leader who can effectively inspire and influence others on a transformative journey.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is essential or proven experience in a similar role.
- Experience of the health, social care sector is essential.
- Experience of the Irish charity/NGO/ Disability Sector would be highly beneficial.
- Strategic thinker, keen on identifying and capitalising on opportunities in line with the organisation’s mission.
- Experience of operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement.
- Robust financial literacy and strategic financial planning are paramount.
- Demonstrated skills in Employee development, coaching, and mentoring are crucial.
