You will be one of the Contract Managers working with colleagues in the Research and Enterprise to guide the contractual side of new and existing awards.ResponsibilitiesYou will provide in-house expertise for drafting, reviewing, and advising on contractual provisions and facilitating negotiations to colleagues in Research and Enterprise and academic staff across the university in pursuance of externally funded research and/or enterprise activities. You will work with other professionals across the university on issue related to research agreements, for example to ensure compliance with GDPR legislation.Person SpecificationYou will have experience in contract preparation and negotiation for sponsored research funded by government, charities and industry. Ideally you will have a degree in law.
