Who you are: The International Sales Team develops and manages B2B relationships to recruit participants for all of CIEE’s inbound student exchanges to the United States, including summer work and travel, camp counselor, interns, trainees, and exchanges at the high school level, serving approximately 35,000 foreign students each year as the largest sponsor for U.S. Department of State BridgeUSA (J-1 Visa) programs.
The coordinator will work on Work Exchange Programs: work and travel, camp counselor, intern, and trainee. The incumbent will support sales efforts with our International Representatives network by assisting with annual cooperation agreements, compliance documentation, training materials, program marketing, and market development as needed. In addition, the incumbent will support the sales team in data collection. The coordinator will also help support efforts to develop new business relationships in existing and new markets. The position will support the sales team in the achievement of annual program sales goals and long-term business development objectives for all Exchange programs.
What you’ll do:
- Support sales efforts for Exchange programs by working closely with IST AccountManagers & IST Manager.
- Support sales analytics and reporting tasks as assigned to support sales team performance management.
- Support process improvement for new and existing processes.
- Assist in new client vetting and onboarding as needed.
- Assist in annual compliance documentation for International Representatives.
- Liaise as needed with CIEE’s operations team on International Representative accounts.
- Willingness to take on new projects and duties as assigned by the Director.
What you’ll bring:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 1 year of customer or client services, account management, or sales support experience is required, preferably with international clients.
- Experience living, studying, teaching, and/or working abroad is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work across cultures and international borders.
- Experience managing data in CRM systems required, Salesforce experience a plus.
- Strong MS Office skills required, advanced Excel and reporting skills preferred.
- Comfortable with learning new technology.
- Desire to work in a global cross-team, collaborative, team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and multi-tasking skills along with a strong work ethic.
- Self-assured, composed, and professional.
