This role can be based out of any of our offices nationally.The Coordinator, Total Rewards, will provide support to our Total Rewards team, with a main focus on payroll and benefits accounting, budget, compensation and HRIS support. A highly detailed, analytical, and organized team player who is able to prioritize and successfully coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment. The candidate will build strong, effective relationships with all stakeholders while delivering service excellence.Key Responsibilities:Payroll & Benefits Accounting

  • Track, prepare, and submit expense requisitions for various third-party providers on a scheduled and ad hoc basis;
  • Assist with wire transfer payment set-up;
  • Preparation of the monthly journal entries and bank reconciliations;
  • Reconciliation of benefit premiums and employee deductions;
  • Reconciliation of all other GL accounts under the responsibility of Total Rewards;
  • Assist with audit requests from internal and external parties;
  • Provide necessary information for the completion of Statistic Canada payroll surveys and other surveys.

Budget Support

  • Support in the Firm’s annual budget process;
  • Support the preparation and import of employee data into the budget system;
  • Track, prepare and update new-year payroll and benefit rates in the budget system;
  • Provide ongoing support to department leaders on their budget updates and inquiries;
  • Assist in the preparation of preliminary and final budget system reports for department review and signoff;
  • Assist in the preparation of the Total Rewards department budget.

Compensation Support

  • Track and prepare registration documents and payment for annual compensation surveys;
  • Provide support with the preparation of compensation surveys, including the submission, receipt, filing, and distribution of results;
  • Support the job evaluation process, including collecting job descriptions for new roles and updated versions for existing roles, and assisting in maintaining the database;
  • Annual audit and collection of updated PRM and other data from department leaders;
  • Support the annual compensation process at each stage, as needed;
  • Participate in the job architecture project.

HRIS Support

  • Support the Total Rewards Analyst in operating and maintaining the HRIS system. Including reporting, audits, GL mapping, and back-up support for employee security and system failures.

General Total Rewards and Talent Services Support

  • Update of all Total Rewards forms and documents annually and throughout the year as needed;
  • Support the Total Rewards team with special projects and overflow work during busy times, and as assigned;
  • Support the Talent Services team with special projects as assigned.

What you’ll bring:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or related field;
  • 2-3 years experience in an Accounting related role;
  • Experience working in Total Rewards (Payroll, Group Benefits and/or Compensation) is an asset;
  • Experience working in a professional services environment is preferred but not required;
  • Bilingual (English-French) preferred;
  • Proficient technical skills in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Experience working with HRIS and Finance platforms with the ability to quickly learn new platforms;
  • Superior attention to detail, accuracy and quality assurance;
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills;
  • Proven ability to build and manage positive, collaborative and professional relationships both internally and externally.
