Our client, an elite US law firm in Central London is currently seeking an experienced Corporate M&A Solicitor with between 2 and 5 years of PQE to join them on a permanent basis. The Team:

The London Corporate team is involved in high-end corporate work, including public/private M&A, takeovers, debt for equity swaps, and strategic corporate advice. They represent multibillion-dollar investment funds on special situations, private credit investments, merger arbitrage, activist situations, and equity restructurings. Additionally, the team is a recognised player in international private equity transactions, advising on matters throughout Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and other emerging markets. Their strong M&A experience spans private equity, energy, renewables, infrastructure, technology, and telecommunications sectors.

The Role:

Joining the London Corporate team, you will play an integral role in high-end corporate work, focusing on public/private mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt for equity swaps, take privates, and more. The team advises multibillion-dollar investment funds on special situations, private credit investments, and regulatory matters.

The ideal candidate will be an England & Wales qualified Corporate/M&A lawyer with between 2 and 5 years’ PQE, possessing prior experience in high-value M&A transactions. Exposure to cross-border energy transactions and equity capital markets is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, excellent academic credentials, and a commercial mindset are essential. Previous experience with energy clients, financial institutions, and sophisticated investors is highly advantageous.
