Responsibilities/Job Description
- Manages and supervises the A/R Process
- Manages financial application of Electronic Health Record
- Resident Trust Fund: Assures cash receipts are recorded and deposited according to corporate guidelines
- Accounts Payable process
- Serves as liaison between the Corporate Accountant and Business Office functions
- Assures HIPAA compliance
- Performs other duties as assigned and directed
QualificationsRequired:
- High school Diploma/GED
- One to three years of previous experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Long term care electronic claim submission with Medicare A and B, Medicaid and managed care payers. Payment posting and contractual adjustments and knowledge of MA application process. * Experience using: Point Click Care and Insurance portalsPreferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Finance/Accounting
- Three to five years of previous experience
- Familiar with: Medicare Remote System (DDE), eProviders, MN-ITS and Electronic Health Record – iCIMS
