About the Opportunity
- Leads, manages, and coordinates the overall financial administration of the Canadian and US entities.
- Preparation and submission of monthly financial statements with full analysis and commentary to Senior Leadership
- Provide variance analysis on income and expenses as support to the monthly financial Statements.
- Maintain accounting records within the ERP system
- Prepare and assist with annual audit, budget preparation and forecasts
- Prepare and assist with month end, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and inter-company accounts.
- Responsible for daily/monthly bank reports
- Delegating tasks to ensure proper workflow and efficiency
- Oversee and provides guidance to staff, establishing goals and objectives for staff and ensuring their performance meets the expectation
- Monitor staff productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
- Provide training to team and new staff
About You
- CPA
- Minimum 6 years of strong full-cycle accounting and internal reporting experience
- Experience working in a public accounting/audit firm is an asset
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, with strong communication skills and attention to detail
