CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT ANALYSTLocation: Central LondonNord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a Corporate Development Analyst to join our Corporate Development team, sat within the Group Central Support.As The central support function consists of 150 professionals across Finance, Corporate Development, HR, Marketing, IT, Legal and Education, who each support the continued growth of our 87 schools in over 30 countries. The role will be expected to deliver comprehensive market studies and target analyses, supporting with the completion of acquisitions in NAE target markets.The Successful Candidate will possess:Essential

  • Strong academic background with a degree from a leading University
  • Experience working in a deal environment, preferably in (by order of preference)
  • Corporate M&A function
  • Private Equity or venture capital
  • Corporate Finance / M&A in a leading bank
  • Transaction Services with a Big 4
  • Management consultant with transaction experience from a top consulting firm
  • Outstanding analytical skills
  • Strong Excel financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Solid knowledge of financial accounting concepts and practice
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent written and oral presentational skills
  • Organisational skills, ability to pay attentional to detail without compromising the big picture
  • Understanding of “transaction environment and requirements”
  • Ability to work in partnership and collaboratively across organisational boundaries and different business sectors to solve problems and meet common objectives
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Desirable

  • Attained or working towards CPA, CA, CFA or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience of various markets and cultures
  • English. Other languages a plus
