Job Summary This role supports RBC’s US Corporate Treasury office in achieving its liquidity and funding management objectives for RBC’s Combined US Operations (“CUSO”), necessary to maintain compliance with local regulations and to meet strategic goals set by senior management. Assist with projects pertaining to regulatory initiatives as needed.Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?This role supports RBC’s US Corporate Treasury office in achieving its liquidity and funding management objectives for RBC’s Combined US Operations (“CUSO”), necessary to maintain compliance with local regulations and to meet strategic goals set by senior management.You will be responsible for daily production coverage of the FRB Regulation YY liquidity reporting as well as other liquidity-related FRB requirements. You will be the primary resource for developing and maintaining documentation of reporting processes and procedures, and key risks and controls associated with reporting.What will you do?Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly liquidity reporting packages for management and regulators.Document and corroborate significant liquidity impacting business drivers and balance sheet changes.Support regulatory filings and audit requests. Prepare and maintain procedure documents in support of such filings and requests.Investigate data issues and prepare adjustments to upload into liquidity systems to ensure balance sheet completeness.Reconcile differences between source systems and financials when compiling reports and work with necessary stakeholders to address gaps/issues.Work with IT to perform UAT testing for application development build outs where applicable.What do you need to succeed?Qualifications:Undergraduate degree in finance or accountingA candidate that is a self-starter, with a positive attitude and a willingness and desire to learnAbility to think criticallyStrong interpersonal skills and writing skillsStrong skill set building reporting tools and working with large databasesAbility to learn Tableau for reporting purposesNice to have:Some understanding of liquidity risk management conceptsPrior exposure to capital markets/bank finance and/or treasury functionsSQL & PythonWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, thinking progressively to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
