The role will consist of mapping statutory audits requirements in countries, building the framework and the necessary tools to enhance the support provided to the Country operations by HQ and the FC section, in their effort to deliver timely and qualitative statutory audits.

The Statutory audit advisor will work in close collaboration with the Finance Controlling team, with colleagues from the country operations having statutory audits requirements as well as with other HQ departments, as needed.

The be successful in this role we expect you to be a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for finance and delivering qualitative and timely report, and who can work autonomously in a day-to-day aspect.

Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required:

  • Solid background in financial management, ideally within an INGO or an international organization.
  • Experience with producing financial statements and working with auditors to answer their queries
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and a good understanding of their architecture and financial data.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to provide thoughtful insights and contribute to financial decision-making.
  • Fluent in English. French speaking skills will be considered a strong advantage while speaking Spanish or Arabic will be an added value
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and networking skills.
  • University degree or equivalent in a relevant area such as finance, business management, or accounting.
