Location: Medway (Chatham Area)
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term PositionSupply Desk are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor for an outstanding secondary school in Chatham. We are looking for a confident individual with exceptional classroom management skills and the ability to cover a variety of subjects across different key stages in the secondary curriculum. The role is available on a full-time, long-term basis starting as soon as possible.About the Role:
You will be responsible for managing classes in the absence of teachers, ensuring that pre-set work is delivered effectively and students remain focused. This role offers an opportunity to play a crucial part in maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour within a supportive school environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across various subjects
• Managing and engaging with students to maintain a focused, safe learning environment
• Promoting inclusive practices and providing individualised support as needed
• Upholding school policies, including behaviour and safeguarding procedures
• Providing constructive feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and progress

Requirements:

• Proven experience covering a range of subjects in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with students
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom environments as required
• A positive, proactive approach to working within a team and supporting students’ educational development
• A valid, enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
