Rate Range: $68-$98/Hr
Job Description:
- Recent and relevant experience designing and building Day of Treatment Order sets/powerplans within Cerner.
- Ambulatory experience is MANDATORY.
- Relevant Cerner experience.
- Relevant clinical experience with ambulatory care, outpatient transfusion medicine, and day of treatment functionality.
- Strong competencies with Cerner PowerChart functionality for orders, order sets, mPages and clinical documentation; excellent skills in configuration and testing of Transfusion Designs.
- Experience with CCLs and reporting considered an asset, but not mandatory.
- Ability to engage with relevant design and informatics teams in the execution of deliverables.
- Ability to work with and develop/complete DCWs as well as custom requirement gathering documentation in collaboration with relevant partners in informatics and build teams.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated as well as work as part of a larger diffuse team.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and have excellent presentation skills to clinical audiences.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, organizing workload and priorities.
- Proficient use of excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize workload and priorities.
- Awareness of all aspects of the Transfusion Medicine service (e.g. patient assessment, ordering, dispensing, administration, reactions) as it relates to PowerChart designs (e.g. OEFs, Order Sets, iView, etc).
- Ability to adapt to a highly dynamic environment and be flexible with evolving responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Recent and relevant experience designing and building CPOE Orders for Day of Treatment in
- Ambulatory AND Acute care within Cerner. Ambulatory experience is MANDATORY.
Relevant Cerner experience.
- Strong competencies with Cerner PowerChart functionality for orders, order sets, mPages and clinical documentation; Excellent skills in configuration and testing of Day of Treatment plans, complex CPOE workflows, and ambulatory specific laboratory workflows. Additionally, must have transfusion medicine CPOE build experience.
- Experience with CCLs and reporting considered an asset, but not mandatory.
