Because we believe everyone deserves a fair, secure, and fulfilling retirement.PurposeTo support the Universe Leadership team and Group Customer in organising and delivering strategic initiatives across Universe and Group Customer. This includes supporting the communication and engagement strategy and plans and supporting initiatives.About the role:Support departmental engagement and communication strategies and action plans using a variety of channels, targeted to relevant audiences, with appropriate feedback measures in place.Own local town halls and other appropriate internal communication events – from logistics through to content delivery.Support with drafting relevant communications and ‘hold the pen’ from initial drafting through to publication (including on the intranet).Support the delivery and results cascade of the employee engagement surveys, supporting the HRBP to communicate results and draft local action plans.Work with the Group Communications and Engagement team to support Group wide initiatives and Universe communications to ensure messages are shared appropriately.Stay abreast of best practice making suggestions to enhance communication and engagement.Engage with Influencers and experts to enhance brand visibility by coordinating and managing influencer campaigns.Provide general support where required to the wider Universe Customer Leadership Team i.e. brand, demand, engagement, research etc.Provide a range of administrative services, including coordinating meetings and preparing papers and key presentations.Own the schedule of committee, governance, and board updates and ensure papers are produced on time and to quality.Skills & experience we’re looking forA customer-focussed self-starter, able to deliver with minimum supervisionStrong communication and relationship building skillsFlexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid changeExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailGood problem solverManaging stakeholder relationships – engages and manages stakeholders effectively, resolving issues and understanding drivers/needs.Excellent communicator both written and verbal and advanced Excel and PowerPoint SkillsCommercial acumenDelivery focussed/ results orientatedExperience of working in a fast-paced environmentCompany BenefitsA Competitive Salary, Pension Scheme and Life AssuranceAlong with 25 Days Annual Leave plus an Additional Day on us for your BirthdayPrivate Medical Cover and Income Protection, just in caseA generous and highly achievable bonus scheme – paid annually based on individual and company performance against targetsOpportunity to progress within your career both in-role and within the companyFREE access to the Headspace App, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Helpline and Trained Physical & Mental Health First Aiders (On-Site)A variety of Employee Funded Benefits available to you via our Online Benefits PortalPlus, several additional purchase options available for you and your loved onesAbout UsWe’re a FTSE 250 Financial Services company who specialise in retirement solutions and right now, our world is moving pretty quickly.How people work, save, and plan for the future is all changing.
