For more information, visit the Nespresso corporate website:A day in the life of a Customer Logistics SpecialistThe Customer Logistics Specialist will be responsible to ensure physical distribution order flow and fulfillment including in the effective application of best practices, to maximize customer service levels. This includes tracking orders, identifying risks to successful fulfillment and ensuring product leaves warehouse on time. Support and coordinate the main stakeholders (3rd party logistic, Logistics, Demand Supply Planning,) for operations day to day execution with a mindset for long term continuous improvement.A day in the life:
- Expert knowledge level on all Operational functions
- Develop and maintains collaborative relationship with our customer team in Canada to ensure order flow.
- Lead all chargeback deep dives, root cause and resolutions
- Ensure outstanding service level for the fulfilment business at a minimum “cost to serve”
- Correctly monitoring achievement of the target values for service and cost KPIs
- Solving adequately any occurring logistics issues are managed with the appropriate stakeholders
- Adopting continuous excellence and best practices
- Review Overall Trade order flow process and make recommendations for improvements or modifications to process
- Support the other team members on the customer logistics team in understanding best practices and ensure key customer service levels are obtained
- Develop business order flow for large Business to Business (B2B) orders to ensure similar customer care provided as per trade orders (On-time delivery, order fulfilled in full)
- Support and develop action plans and organize to conclusion delegated projects (i.e. Full Trailor load analysis, Key KPI’s analysis)
- Collaborate with Demand Planning and Sales teams to assist with development of forecast for capsule orders
- Defines, analyses, and evaluates existing business functions and processes and makes recommendations to management on opportunities for process improvements.
Role Requirements
- Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market.
- 3-5 years’ experience in customer service in fast moving consumer or luxury goods
- Understands key business functions i.e. Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain.
- Strong Analytical skills – Ability to work with numbers: generate reports and statistical data, ability to interpret that data and in turn identify problems, opportunities, trends and develop solutions
- Knowledge of retail landscape in Canada
