If you like what you hear, then we’d love you to apply!Due to incredible growth within our International team we have an exciting opportunity for a Customs Compliance and Security Manager to join usYou will be responsible for Evri’s export and import customs compliance, including auditing, maintaining, and developing global compliant solutions, the role is also responsible for managing the companies regulated agent status with the CAA Security.You will be accountable for:

  • Managing the Company’s Customs Compliance and Duty Management programs.
  • Building and managing productive relationships with each departments. leadership team and clients by providing guidance on customs regulations and duty savings opportunities.
  • Representing the company to government authorities including HMRC, BF and CAA including site audits and visits.
  • Managing the Company’s Customs Cross Border Brokerage Operations.
  • Providing guidance to Customs Compliance Team members in order to provide best-in-class customer service and duty savings opportunities to each client.
  • Coordinating inter-department initiatives with various teams, such as, but not limited to, the International Outbound, Intl Inbound, Companies Legal and Tax dept, Operational Hubs, Commercial, CM’s and finance teams.
  • Monitoring regulatory & legislative changes within the E-commerce industry to ensure the company is providing up-to-date and future information to senior management and departments.
  • Managing the Company’s CAA security program.
  • Monitoring security compliance including audits, training and CAA visits.
  • Performing other duties as required and assigned by the manager.

To be successful in this role you will preferably have experience in global trade compliance. Good knowledge of UK/EU customs formalities. You will have experience with relationships and implementing Customs brokers in various countries/territories. Implementing Global Trade Management Systems. You will have the ability to interpret and administer accounting principles as they relate to customs laws and regulations. Previous history of working within a regulated agent status with CAA.Qualifications

  • GCSE level 9-4 required or equivalent.
  • Strong mathematical and English skills (written and verbal).
  • Computer literacy with proficient use of MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
