OverviewGallagher Re is actively seeking graduates to join our rapidly expanding and industry-leading Cyber
Reinsurance brokerage in a client-facing capacity. Ideal candidates should possess strong
communication skills and a proactive mindset. Our Cyber Academy graduate program offers successful
applicants exposure to various facets of Cyber Security, ranging from safeguarding businesses to
delivering consulting services to clients of all sizes. We are committed to supporting individuals in
obtaining relevant qualifications and enhancing their understanding of Cyber Security and Cyber
Insurance, as well as building a solid foundation in analytical skills throughout the programme.Core focuses of the Gallagher Re Cyber & Digital Advisory Team include, but aren’t limited to:
- Consultancy Services – contribute to the development and delivery of a diverse range of
consultancy services to clients around the creation of new cyber products and services, the
quantification of cyber risk and the realisation of new market opportunities;
- Cyber Catastrophe Management – collaborating with actuaries, catastrophe modellers and
cyber experts to support clients and vendors in the development and evaluation of realistic
catastrophe scenarios for the Cyber Insurance market;
- New Technologies – helping the Gallagher Re team to develop new technological solutions
which enable clients to enhance their understanding of cyber risk or secure new business;
- Expert Insight – working with brokers and actuaries to provide expert insight, translating Cyber
Security concepts/ events into their implications for internal and external stakeholders;
- Thought Leadership – work with others to create market leading thought leadership on
relevant Cyber Security concepts and their application to the Cyber Insurance industry
How you’ll make an impactCore Responsibilities:
- To build effective working relationships within the team and other internal departments;
- To act as a point of contact within the department for specific tasks/processes;
- To ensure effective and structured verbal and written communication, with the ability to present
information in a clear manner and contribute to meetings as required;
- To use best practices and knowledge to identify efficiencies and process improvements within
projects assigned, and to solve problems as required;
- To be proactive in seeking opportunities to develop own experience and technical skills
wherever possible;
- To manage own workload, demonstrating effective prioritisation of tasks and providing regular
progress updates against project plan;
- Ability to manage competing priorities within the Gallagher Re Analytics and Consulting team.

About YouSkills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Capability to translate technical concepts for different internal and external stakeholders;
- Experience building something new, either yourself or as part of a group, particularly if it
demonstrates:
Interaction with software;
Experience in market research / benchmarking;
Experience of stakeholder / client management.
- Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders, both internally and externally;
- Good attention to detail;
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and challenges;
- Interest to learn about insurance, reinsurance and analytical fundamentals;
- Interest in developing your knowledge of Cyber Security and Data Analytics;
- Personable, enthusiastic, ability to summarise and explain key drivers of complex situations in a
clear and concise manner.
- Academic or personal projects showcasing applicable practical skills and problem-solving
abilities.Education / Qualifications (preferred):
- University degree required in appropriate discipline at 2:1 or above. Degree with ‘quantitative
element’ required;
- Excellent IT skills, in particular, ability to present information clearly and effectively over MS
PowerPoint or MS Word. Skills using MS Excel also preferred;
