An apprenticeship is the perfect way to fast-track your career!Your OpportunityWe’re currently looking for an apprentice to join our SME Pricing and Underwriting team. You’ll help us grow and develop our electronically traded products by analysing large datasets, identifying trends and making recommendations to improve our products.Your role could include:Sourcing data in a secure mannerCollating and formatting data to present for review and further analysisBlending data by combining it from various sources and formats to explore its relevanceAnalysing simple and complex data to support business outcomes, using different methods to analyse the dataCollaborating with people at all levels with a view of creating value from the dataInteracting with Brokers to support their customersStaying up to date with market changes, distribution methods, and our competitive position.Building and maintain strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders.If you enjoy working with numbers and interacting with a wide variety of stakeholders, then you could be the perfect fit!The length of your apprenticeship will vary depending on the course provider and scheme. We’ll give you plenty of support and study time alongside your permanent role.What can I look forward to?During your apprenticeship you’ll:Learn how to understand and analyse customer requirements and then implement findings.Build data analysis skills to identify risks and opportunities.Develop collaboration and communication skills that help you share our insights with stakeholders in a way that suits different audiences.Understand data, enabling you to make informed evidence-based decisionsUse data visualisation tools to create infographics, reports, tables, dashboards and graphs and communicating data insights.Understand how to collate and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.Alongside your day-to-day work, you’ll complete a Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship which will take around 18 months to complete.
