What is the opportunity?
As a part of the Technology & Operations Chief Operating Office (T&O COO Office), you will be working on automation projects, driving enhancements, and streamlining key-processes. This role combines Finance, Operational and Technology expertise which will support meaningful, high-impact deliverables such as materials for the Technology & Operations Senior Leadership Team, Financial management and reporting processes – as well as creating operational efficiencies through cross-functional projects. You will be liaising with cross-functional lines-of-business such as Finance, HR, and Operations to underpin the production of improved processes and internal controls from an automation and financial management perspective.

What will you do?

  • Maintaining and monitoring the financial management systems; including variance analysis, decomposition of Technology & Operations financial frameworks, trend analysis to provide value-add support and supporting the Senior Leadership Team through monthly financial reviews
  • Seek out opportunities to create efficiencies through automation of processes to improve operational efficiency; continuously enhance reporting processes to ensure timely and insightful reporting of financial information
  • Support other functional groups, such as Finance, HR, and Operations, in fulfilling their reporting requirements by filling out relevant templates and providing adequate back up
  • Identify, recommend, and monitor key cost drivers and recommend cost opportunities to senior management
  • Ensure cost profiles across distinct lines-of-businesses are accurate, and reported with transparency and completeness
  • Build operational guide documents to strengthen internal documentation

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 3+ Years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience
  • Experience with automation tools such as VBA, Macros and Database tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral & written, with good interpersonal skills in-order-to establish relationships across all levels of the enterprise.
  • Experience in financial reporting & analysis and cost management.
  • Experience using metrics, KPIs and cost/value drivers in performance management
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems such as EPM, or similar reporting tools
  • Problem solving and collaborative skills
  • Curious and proactive mindset

Nice-to-have

  • Understanding of financial accounting
  • Prior experience with operational enhancement projects
  • Drive to problem solve and proven analytical skills
  • Self-starter approach to problem solving and ability to actively prioritize asks from business partners
  • Knowledge of design, development, and implementation to create efficiencies within current processes
