Being an active member of the Integrated Collections Management System (ICMS) Programme to deliver a new integrated system to serve Kew’s worldwide renown collection and their requirements for the next 10-20 years.

The Data Quality Officer will play a pivotal role supporting Kew’s Integrated Collections Management System (ICMS) Programme working to address data quality issues to a state of readiness in preparation for the data migration to the new science collection system.

Essential skills and experience required for this role include:

– Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

– Experience of data analysis and reporting

– Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills & Reporting Tools

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable Skills include:

– Understanding of relational databases and SQL language, with experience of using and building complex queries to clean large datasets

– Experience of working with natural history collections / Herbarium & Fungarium Collections and basic botanical knowledge

This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

The salary will be £30,200 – £32,368 per annum pro-rata, depending on skills and experience.
