The Electrical Products Business of Siemens Industry, Inc. relies on the accuracy of its material data to drive logistics processes, analytics, and the publication of data to business partners; hence we are looking for a Data Steward. The Data Steward will work within the Electrical Products Data Management Team to support Product Life Cycle Management and to drive the integrity and quality of product master data in SAP and other integrated systems.

The Electrical Products Business of Siemens Industry, Inc. relies on the accuracy of its material data to drive logistics processes, analytics, and the publication of data to business partners.

The Data Steward will work within the Electrical Products Data Management Team to support Product Life Cycle Management and to drive the integrity and quality of product master data in SAP and other integrated systems.

You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

  • Set up, support, and maintain product master data through the entire product life cycle.
  • Measure, improve, and certify the quality and integrity of material data. Ensure that the data supports the needs of the business.
  • Work within the Data Management Team, and with plant data stewards, to define and uphold data governance policies and procedures to ensure standardized data processes and consistent data definitions.
  • Participate in data definition, data modifications, and process testing in support of business and IT projects.
  • Work with business partners to address material-related process issues and opportunities.
  • Identify, design, and implement process improvement initiatives related to data governance.
  • Create ad hoc data extracts and reports as needed to support projects, data analysis, and problem-solving activities.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience with Siemens business processes within SAP
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and function well independently
  • Commitment to a high level of customer service
  • Process-oriented experience and mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of electrical products.
  • Experience with data used to support manufacturing and warehousing processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau
  • Experience with Winshuttle or other scripting tools

  • The pay range for this position is $58,500 – $100,400. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
