Your primary responsibility is to lead a team that helps clients with their complex digital, technology, cloud and/or analytical problems.In your role, you will have responsibility for deliverables and client stakeholder relationships and will be delivering digital, technology, cloud transformation, software and/or data solutions for our clients using agile, waterfall or hybrid methodologies.   • The ability to interpret data, identify trends/patterns and derive insights to drive decisions.
  • Delivery leadership experience in one or more of:
  • complex technology / cloud transformations including the ability to define and drive the delivery of project plans including developing of service transition plans.
  • modern agile software development including Agile Business Analysis, prototyping, APIs, architecture patterns, test automation and DevOps.
  • executing full lifecycle of AI and Analytics implementations from planning to deployment. , including data modelling, machine learning, statistical analysis, data reporting, and visualisation.
  • Focused on accuracy and attention to detail; providing developers and/or data engineers with a clear understanding of specifications/requirements.
  • Client care and relationship development; will work to understand business’ structure and objectives. This will include regular meetings, backlog prioritisation with product owners and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience leading teams in one or more delivery methods
  • Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Scrum@Scale
  • Waterfall /hybrid delivery
  • Experience of delivery tools such as Atlassian – Jira, Confluence, MSProject.
  • Project management skills such as: developing project plans, managing resources, tracking progress, risk management, and meeting deadlines with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • One or more recognised delivery certification(s) such as Certified Agile, Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agile, PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, MSP, or ITIL.

We are specifically looking for candidates with both technical and business focused skills, who can articulate the outcomes and value of their work, and have working experience in some of the following:

  • Familiar with the GDS Service Manual.
  • Strong foundation across the cybersecurity technology stack.
  • Knowledge of common technologies involved in digital delivery such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle, SAP.
  • Knowledge of regulations and compliance considerations around data management.
