Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Detail oriented and have strong communication skills? Then this might be the role for you! The Department Operations Associate position is multi-faceted with a focus on supporting and coordinating department-wide operations across all WMC Training & Development teams. Responsibilities include office operations, virtual and in-person event coordination, conference planning for all T&D internal events. This role will also assist with department content creation (newsletters, communications blurbs, infographics, etc), distribution of communications, intranet site maintenance, brand maintenance and travel coordinating.What will you do?Department Operations Support:Manage all day-to-day department office operations; Order/maintain office supplies, coordinate meeting spaces as needed, assist with office setup, onboarding new employees.Conference & Event Coordination:Assist with coordinating and planning quarterly conferences for Wealth Management Canada Head Office, Training & Development team and branch employees; managing agendas and related materials. Coordinate and plan periodic off-site meetings, create participant lists, manage invitations, meeting materials, etc. ensuring collaboration with various business functions to ensure flawless execution of meetings and events.Content Creation Support:Assist with content and maintenance for internal sitesAssist with PowerPoint presentation and small video design and editsWhat do you need to succeed?Must HaveUniversity degree, College diploma or equivalent experienceStrong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookStrong communication (written and verbal), relationship/interpersonal, organization, and client service skillsExcellent administration skills in order to coordinate multiple programs, along with strong attention to detail and time-management skillsAble to work independently, within a hybrid team environment and with leaders across different levels in the organization/external partnersCreative, self-motivated, and analytical thinker; well versed with problem solving and thinking out of the boxNice to HaveExperience using Access, SharePoint, CRM applications (Salesforce)Experience using project management tools (Asana)Experience using Video Editing software (Camtasia, Adobe Premier)Bilingual FrenchWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
