Juniper Green Primary SchoolSalary: £66,072 (subject to job sizing)
Hours: 35 per weekMonday to Friday.Juniper Green Primary has 14 classes with a school roll of around 400 learners. Our term time only Nursery has capacity for 64 learners on a full-time basis. The school is situated in the southwest of the city and is one of three catchment schools for Currie Community High School. You will be joining a Senior Leadership Team that currently comprises of a Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher and a Business Manager.We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and skilled DHT to join our Senior Leadership Team and our wider Juniper Green staff team to assist in the day-to-day operational running of the school. Knowledge and experience of Early Years, Play Pedagogy and Support for Learning is highly desirable but not essential. However, it is essential that candidates have relevant experience of being part of a Senior Leadership Team at either PT, ADHT or DHT level. Candidates should demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills. This role comes with a minimum of 0.22 teaching commitment.For further information please visit our website at www.junipergreenprimary.co.ukSalaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
